I have a problem with a backup routine on BackupCow Enterprise. I am backing up a quite large job (1.81Gbyte – 5628 files) across our network. The backup job analyses the files and commences backup – it runs to 99% and stops with an “Incomplete 99%” message. I have instituted several other backups from the same source to the same target drive and they all work ok. Is it because the 1.81Gbyte job source has certain files included in it (like backups of client data originated from accountancy packages like Sage?) Or some file that the backup software is unhappy with?
The problem probably is because your backup job include a file regedit.exe,which is usually in C:\windows. You can exclude that file using the backup filter: Right click the backup job -- Job Settings --Advanced --Filter -- Exclude Files
